Abu Dhabi (GDC) — The history of CSM INDUSTRY began in Czechoslovakia in 1967. In 1976, the production of the legendary universal finishing machine UDS started. In 50 years, more than 30,000 UDS machines and construction mechanisms have been manufactured and exported worldwide.
The machine is designed primarily to support the Army Engineers and has its application wherever it is necessary to intervene immediately to save lives and property, natural and natural disasters, fires, and industrial disasters. It also plays an important role in military deployment, in providing technical means and structures supporting the activities of combat units.
The CSM believes that in the future it will be able to continue as a traditional representative of the domestic defense industry in United Arab Emirates under the umbrella of International Golden Group (IGG) in further modernization of the needs of the Armed Forces and will cover increasingly demanding development requirements. “As a military manufacturer of excavators, we are ready to face new challenges in modernizing military equipment and meeting the demanding requirements of the Armed Forces, as evidenced by recent international agreements with leading defense giants such as Rheinmetall Germany, IVECO Defense Vehicles Italy, Plasan Israel or BEML in India. The development of joint projects on 6×6 and 8×8 car chassis moves the company CSM with its UDS and Slovakia back among the major players in the defense industry, “said chairman Tomáš Maroš at the opening ceremony.
The Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic (NATO member) recently took over five new UDS Military Excavators from the traditional Slovak production company CSM Industry and will continue to replace all 30 machines used by the army during its modernization period.
“The leadership of the Ministry of Defense perceives the need to support both existing and new capabilities of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic within the domestic crisis management, including equipment deployed in floods or other crisis situations. Our soldiers have shown their readiness to help wherever it is needed, and our goal is to provide them with everything they need for it – quality conditions, preparation, and also reliable technology, which we will continue to continue. “I am glad that I was able to come in person to support the companies of the Slovak defense industry at IDEX. Support for the Slovak defense industry is very important to us. ” “said the Minister of Defense Slovak Republic, Mr. Jaroslav Naď.
“We are very pleased that CSM Industry with its 50-year history has once again shown that we can produce special combat engineering equipment in Slovakia, in accordance with the strictest NATO standards and thus contribute to the renewal of equipment of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic,” said the director CSM Defense, Mr. Alexander Horvath.
