Su-34 bomber crashed in Khabarovsk Territory in Russia

The Su-34 fighter-bomber crashed during a planned training flight in the Khabarovsk Territory, the press service of the Eastern Military District reported, RIA Novosti reports .

As reported in the press service, the pilots managed to eject, nothing threatens their health. “The pilots ejected. There is no threat to their health. At present, the crew members have been evacuated to the home base, ”the district said.

It is clarified that the flight was carried out without ammunition. The plane crash caused no destruction on the ground. A source told the agency that a technical malfunction could have caused the plane to crash. “The preliminary reason is equipment failure,” said a source in the security forces.

In August, an L-39 training aircraft crashed in the Krasnodar Territory . The accident occurred during a scheduled training flight. Both pilots managed to eject and were not injured.

The plane crashed in a deserted area and did not cause destruction on the ground. After the fall, the pilots independently contacted the base.
