Turkish Koral EW Downed Russian Drone In Syria

The Turkish military shot down a Russian drone over northern Syria using KORAL electronic warfare systems. According to sources, a few hours ago the Turkish military, using Koral electronic warfare, Turkey downed a Russian military unmanned aerial vehicle over the Syrian province of Idlib.

Hürriyet Daily News reported that the Orlan-10 UAV was destroyed once it lost communication with the control station, this is not the first Russian drone destroyed by Turkish electronic warfare systems.

According to a number of sources, the drone has fallen due to lost communication, GPS signal jamming, communication interruptions by KORAL EW and about a year ago it also became known that Turkey has deployed its electronic warfare systems in ​​Syria.
