Sweden reveals how Ukrainian crews were trained to use CV90 infantry fighting vehicles

The press service of the Swedish Defense Ministry has published pictures of Ukrainian soldiers training on CV90 infantry fighting vehicles.

The training program started in March and, according to local media, ended in May. During this time, Sweden has trained several groups of crews. According to Swedish instructors, the Ukrainian trainees are talented and incredibly ambitious. And despite the short period of training, they quickly mastered combat vehicles. By the way, the military personnel shown in the photos have already returned to Ukraine.

The CV90 is a Swedish infantry fighting vehicle developed in 1984 by Hägglunds (owned by British BAE Systems) on behalf of the Swedish Land Forces. Production of the vehicle started in 1993. Since then, about 1170 BMP in different modifications were produced. By the way, Sweden promised to transfer 50 such infantry fighting vehicles to the AFU. Presumably, some of them are already in Ukraine.
