U.S. Air Force Allocates Funding To Purchase 100 B-21 Raider Strategic Nuclear Bomber

The United States Air Force receives more than $216 billion in fiscal year 2023. This amount includes the purchase of a next-generation nuclear bomber.

B-21 Raider was announced three weeks ago. U.S. Air Force and Northrop Grumman officials call it the world’s first sixth-generation aircraft. At the secret presentation, journalists were allowed to photograph the bomber only from the front. Characteristics are also kept secret.

The government has allocated the Air Force $1.3 billion to buy the B-21 Raider. The plane will make its first flight early next year. The U.S. Air Force wants to buy 100 bombers, but so far only six units are in production.
