Denmark announced its readiness to donate 30 F-16 fighters to Ukraine

Denmark announced its readiness to deliver Ukraine with American-made fourth generation F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jets.

Acting Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen has said that Denmark is ready to send F-16 fighters to Ukraine on one condition.

Denmark will provide the Ukrainian Air Force with 30 F-16 fourth-generation fighter jets if the deliveries are approved by the United States.

There are 43 F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters in service with the Royal Danish Air Force, 30 of which are an active part of the fleet. But they are now being replaced by the more modern American fifth-generation F-35 Lightning II fighters.
