A major fire engulfed Russia’s ELMASH electromechanical plant in Voronezh

A major fire occurred in Voronezh. The preliminary report shows the fire area is about 3000 square meters. The fire quickly engulfed almost the entire production workshop.

According to Baza journalists, a fire was recorded in the territory of the Enikmash-V machine-building plant, while RIA Novosti also reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, with reports of explosions heard before the fire broke out. The plant specializes in producing electric motors, generators, transformers, and other equipment, making this incident a significant concern for the Russian military industry.

As reported by the ASTRA Telegram channel on April 22, a fire broke out at the ELMASH electromechanical plant, affecting an estimated area of 3000 square meters. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Social media is abuzz with videos capturing the intense fire that engulfed the ELMASH electromechanical plant.

The Voronezh Electromechanical Plant specializes in high-quality electric motors and is known for its production of gearboxes, gear motors, block brakes, industrial fans, and electric motors.

According to Baza Telegram channel, Enikmash-V machine-building plant is on fire in Voronezh, they reported that three people were found dead, two were injured.

At the same time, the Mash channel claims that the fire occurred in a warehouse, whereas the Telegram channel claims that the fire occurred in a workshop.

Russian Emergencies Ministry said that two people were injured.

The 1200-square-meter industrial building caught fire in Moscow Oblast, Orekhovo-Zuyevo, on April 22.
