The “Come Back Alive” Army Competent Assistance Foundation has published a new video taken by the SHARK drone. The reconnaissance UAV found and helped destroy two Russian multiple rocket launchers.
The Foundation together with the network of OKKO petrol stations raised almost $9 million for the purchase of 25 SHARK unmanned aerial systems manufactured in Ukraine. Each complex consists of two drones, but with the collected funds it was possible to purchase 25 more UAVs.
SHARK was announced almost a year ago. The Ukrainian drone can reach a speed of 150 km/h and fly for two hours. The camera supports full HD video recording and has a 30x zoom.
The 92nd Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was able to destroy a 2A36 Hyacinth-B cannon and a logistics centre of the Russian army, as well as BM-27 Uragan and BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, thanks to a SHARK drone. The strikes were carried out with GMLRS guided missiles from the M142 HIMARS or M270 MLRS system.
