In addition, the so-called “humpback” road bridge was also hit. It is located next to the railway bridge.

Currently, the extent of damage to both structures is unknown. At the same time, footage on social media shows explosions and a fire breaking out near the railway bridge.

Media outlets note that this bridge has strategic importance for the Russian forces, as the enemy uses it to transport heavy equipment and fuel for Russian troops in southern Ukraine.

Recently, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov stated that Ukrainian drones are currently blocking Crimea. Therefore,in the near future, it could become an island.

In addition, according to the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi,Ukraine will cut off temporarily occupied Crimea from Russia in the very near future.

According to the spokesman of the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, the Russians believe that Ukrainian soldiers could land in Crimea. For this reason, the occupiers are strengthening the peninsula’s defenses.
