On Sunday, October 23, top Russian propagandist and military commander Semyon Pegov stepped on a landmine and was wounded near Donetsk, this is reported by Pegov’s propaganda project WarGonzo on Twitter, APA reports.

According to Pegov, on Sunday he twice went to the front line, was on the road with the acting head of the republic, Denis Pushilin, near Gorlovka.

It is specified that a Russian journalist was injured near the village of Vodiane in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), blown up by a mine “Petal”.

Pegov has an open fracture of two toes of his right foot’s toes and lacerated wounds of its plantar part.

The military commander was hospitalized in the trauma center of Donetsk. The surgeon who assisted Pegov at the Republican Traumatology Center in Donetsk said that the doctors successfully operated on the Pegov.
