TAIPEI (GDC) — A Chinese J-10 fighter jet entered Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on June 16 morning from the north and east, according to Taiwan news.
Despite the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Chinese warplanes have continued to violate Taiwan’s airspace over the past few months. Each time, however, the Ministry of National Defense has repelled the incursions.
The Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) J-10 crossed into Taiwan’s ADIZ off the southwest coast at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday and was warned twice by the Taiwanese side to leave, the Liberty Times reported.
