NEW DELHI (GDC) — Russia initially postponed the delivery of the S-400 system to December 2021 due to the pandemic.
According to India media, this issue figured during defence minister Rajnath Singh’s meetings in Moscow with Russian officials including deputy PM Yury Borisov on Tuesday. Defence secretary Ajay Kumar also held separate meetings with his Russian counterpart.
Russia has agreed to look at ways to advance the delivery of the S-400 Triumf missile defence system following India’s request amid growing tensions along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
