Noted on a Google Earth photo from 7 May 2020, four Su-35S in a two-tone blue camouflage scheme intended for the Egypt Air Force can be seen outside the KnAAZ Gagarin Aircraft Plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur (Russia).
Russia has started production of Su-35 fighter jets for Egypt as part of an order for two dozen of the jets.
According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, Egypt ordered 24 Su-35 aircraft for $2 billion in 2018.
In March 2019 Russian newspaper Kommersant said the contract involves several dozen of the fighters, which will supplement the MiG-29M/M2 fighters Egypt is receiving and help replace obsolete MiG-21s and J-7s.
Egypt is the second foreign customer for the Sukhoi Su-35S, after China. Different numbers are mentioned for the total order of Su-35s for Egypt, but the latest information mentions 31 Su-35S fighter aircraft to be delivered in the time-frame 2020-2023.
According to a recent photo made inside the factory, construction number 07105 was noted at the production line. This one is most likely destined for Egypt.
The overview photo shows the four Egypt Air Force Su-35S. As a comparison, the aircraft at the bottom in the red circle is a Sukhoi Su-30M2 for the Russian Air Force. The Su-35 has a thinner and more narrow tailcone than the Su-30.
Egypt had placed an order for around 24 Su-35s to be delivered in 2020 and 2021. The first 5 are reportedly undergoing final tests. Egypt has a very interesting inventory, including Mig-29s, Rafales and F-16s
